tony moxon found STRAVA very useful when venturing out without a map and trying to add 10 k to a 43 k loop. thoughts of following what i thought was N, S , E , W foundered on decisions that small lanes and narrow roads threw up. phone wouldnt connect to Google Maps but STRAVA kept going beautifully.
